Skydive KC has been the skydiving center of choice for Kansas City, Topeka, and Overland Park since 1998. Founded by Chris and John Hall, our dropzone has earned the reputation for being the premier skydiving center of Kansas City because of our impeccable safety record, customer service, and turbine aircraft.
Skydive Kansas City joined Bucketlist Experience in 2024 when Chris Hall retired. Bucketlist Experience’s mission is to “help make safe skydivers.” We share their passion and long history of success with sister drop zones, Skydive Indianapolis and Skydive the Rock. Also, with the new ownership comes new gear, aircraft and excitement for the next generation of skydivers to be made in our local playground in the sky!

The mission of Skydive Kansas City is to make safe skydivers. We aim to deliver the best skydiving experience possible –from first jump to instructor-rated. To achieve this, we communicate world-class safety standards every load. And, we provide the best skydiving equipment, aircraft and facilities at a fair price –which keeps people coming back!
HISTORY
Chris and John Hall were a father and son team who love skydiving.
John started skydiving in 1973 and witnessed the industry grow from old military round parachutes to today’s modern ram-air canopies. John was known for years as one of the best demonstration jumpers in the region, performing demo jumps all over the KC metro area since the early 1970’s.
Chris started skydiving at the age of 18. He traveled the country, developing expert skills in freefall photography. He also competed in the ESPN X Games Pro Tour in 1996.
Together they opened Skydive Kansas City in 1998 with Chris taking the lead. Chris grew the operation over the years. And, after a long and successful career, Chris made the decision to retire. Little Engine Ventures (LEV) acquired the business from Chris in 2024 and added it to their Bucketlist Experience cohort of drop zones. Together with the local team we have continued to build upon their passion and standards –upgrading gear, training, aircraft and facilities to support our passion for skydiving.
